Workshop Overview

Join us and learn how to use the tools, methods, and interventions of Strengths Model Case Management to
increase your effectiveness in engaging and aligning with people in their recovery journey. Strengths Model Case
Management is an evidence-based practice, with over four decades of research, that is effective in improving life
outcomes for people with serious mental illnesses, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders.
This workshop is intended for adult and youth case managers, case management supervisors, and is also applicable to clinicians,
counselors, and peer support workers.

Dr. Rick Goscha is CEO and Founder of Strengths Model Inc. Dr. Goscha, along with Dr. Charles Rapp, is a co-developer of Strengths
Model Case Management and author of the book The
Strengths Model: A Recovery-Oriented Approach to Mental
Health Services (published by Oxford University Press), now
in its third edition. Dr. Goscha has over 35 years of
experience in behavioral health, including provision of clinical services,
supervision and program management, agency executive leadership,
research and evaluation, and policy development. He is an internationally
renowned speaker and author.

Strengths Model Case Management

Ally Mabry, LMSW, is a Strengths Model trainer and consultant who works with Strengths Model Inc. Ms. Mabry has worked in the behavioral health field for thirty years in a variety of different roles, including provision of clinical services and executive management. Ms. Mabry has worked with teams nationally and internationally to implement Strengths Model Case Management with diverse populations, including adults with serious mental illnesses, children, transition-age youth, older adults, unhoused individuals, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
